Women in Conversation – Opportunities for Women in the Real Estate Industry

Women make up more than two-thirds of all the real estate agents in the United States. But that number drops  when you look at the percentage of women at the Broker/Owner level.

According to the NAR 2017 Member Profile Report, women account for 67 percent of all real estate agents, yet only 46 percent of non-selling broker-owners are women.

At Coldwell Banker’s annual Leadership Summit in March, they hosted a panel, “When Women Lead,” that was comprised of women leaders from across the country, with the goal of getting to the root cause of this leadership gap. They found that women in real estate often face two common hurdles: a lack of management training and limited opportunities for leadership positions in their offices.

Join us for a conversation about career opportunities – from Residential to Commercial – and hear from women that have successful careers in the field.   Whether you are interested in getting into real estate or are already in the business and trying to figure out where there is opportunities for advancement,  this will be an informative conversation.
